Are you an experienced retail manager with a genuine passion for community and a drive to achieve? We are searching for a dynamic leader to take charge of our vibrant Kerikeri store. This exciting Monday to Friday role offers plenty of variety and autonomy, providing you with the opportunity to make a real positive impact!
This role is a permanent part-time position, working 37.5 hours each week from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. The successful candidate is expected to start in early December.
Key responsibilities include:
Overseeing and managing shop operations and stock levels
Drive revenue growth by setting and achieving ambitious sales targets
Actively promoting and marketing the store within the local community
Managing and maintaining store displays, and setting the pricing of stock
Rostering staff, leading and motivating volunteers and staff members
Generating monthly reports and forecasting
Cultivate a warm, welcoming environment that encourages exceptional customer service
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Solid experience in retail management, visual merchandising, and an interest in second-hand goods
Proven experience successfully managing a high-performing team
A highly motivated, proactive "can-do" attitude that drives you to identify and act on opportunities for improvement
A results-focused mindset, with a passion for success and achieving set targets
Ability to recruit, lead and motivate volunteers
Great relationship-building skills and strong community focus
