We have an opportunity for a Store Manager to take full responsibility for our Store based in Christchurch CBD.
As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations of the store and for driving your team to achieve targets.
This is a full-time and permanent role (40 hours per week).
We are looking for a Store Manager who is a strategic thinker, has a strong drive for results, has the ability to build and lead a successful team and who takes responsibility and follows through with action.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership qualities and have a minimum of 6 months experience in a management role in the tourism retail industry.
The successful applicant will: Be responsible for operational and people management, including daily management of staff, rostering, wages, etc; Be responsible for Recruitment, induction, training and development of staff; Possess good communication, organisational, time management and resource management skills; Have the ability to think on your feet and problem-solve quickly; Have a strong Customer Service ethic and at least 3 years of sales experience; Have a positive and energetic attitude; Have experience with different nationalities; Love to sell to customers and spend time on the shop floor; Have the ability to work flexible hours.
We are open 7 days a week from 9:30 am to 7:00 pm.
