Last year, Swanndri also welcomed Line 7 into its brand stable.If successful, you will be joining the business at an exciting time as the company continues to expand into international markets, with the Swanndri flagship stores serving to showcase the full breadth of the Swanndri range.The RoleYou will oversee the daily operations of our soon to open Manawa Bay Outlet Retail store to ensure the smooth running of services to maximise sales and minimise costs, whilst building the Swanndri brand.We are looking for a candidate with experience as a store manager and knowledge of diverse business subjects such as sales, merchandising, and apparel retail. An effective retail manager will also be able to motivate individuals and teams to perform according to their maximum ability.Responsibilities:Organising all store operations and allocating responsibilities to personnelSupervising and guiding staff towards maximum performancePreparing and controlling the store's wage budget aiming for optimal efficiencyPromoting the image, product and service offering of the store through on-brand visual merchandisingMonitoring stock levels and any sundry purchases and ensuring they stay within guidelinesDealing with complaints from customers to maintain the brand's reputationPlanning and overseeing in-store promotional events and displaysKeeping abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the storeAnalysing sales and stock reports to assist in forecastsEnsuring the store fulfils all legal health and safety obligationsThe CandidateYou will have proven experience as a retail apparel manager, or in another retail managerial position, with knowledge of retail management best practices, outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities. Your excellent organisation and leadership skills combined with commercial awareness will be supported by an analytical mind and a good eye for design.Previous experience and knowledge of retail management software, along with Microsoft Office, is a requirement.
