Store Assistant

We are a retail store based in Papatoetoe. We sell retail and commercial crockery, utensils, appliances etc. We are and looking for ONE full–time assistant to be part of our team. This position requires working on weekends. You must be physically fit as this job requires lifting. You will be required to work a minimum of 3 0 hours /week. We are looking for someone who is- -          Reliable and hardworking. -          Team player who is confident and honest. -          Has excellent p ersonal presentation and punctuality.   Qualification/Work Experience We do not require any formal qualification or prior work experience. Knowledge of an Hindi/Punjabi will be advantageous. Must be able to lift up to 25 kgs. Must be willing to load unload goods and items. Your daily task will include- - Advising customers on products, services, prices, etc. - Selling the goods available in the store. - Assisting in stock take . - Handle checkout by receiving cash and card payments , packing goods etc . - Assisting in receiving deliveries and maintaining the layout of the store. - Assisting the owners in the daily management and running of the store. - Assist in setting up display, loading and unloading items, packing and unpacking items.
