We are seeking a dedicated professional in the Canterbury region to join our team.The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their expertise in traditional and contemporary stonework.Key Responsibilities: Cut, shape, and polish stone for various projects.
Perform precise mitering and professional installations.
Work with both traditional and modern stonework techniques.
Ensure high standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Operate a forklift for moving materials.
Requirements: Proven experience as a stonemason.
Expertise in cutting, polishing, mitering, and installation.
Site installation experience Familiarity with both traditional and contemporary techniques.
Care of workmanship and equipment Excellent communication skills and a drive for success and achievement Forklift experience (preferred but not required).
Current driver's licence and reliable transport Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
