Stonefruit Packers

A Central Otago Stonefruit Orchard is looking for Stonefruit Packers to join our team for the 2024-25 Season.
McIntosh Orchard is based in Earnscleugh, Alexandra, which has amazing views of the entire basin.
The season will run from the week of the 20th of January to the week of the 17th of March.
We will have work up to 5 days a week, depending on weather conditions.
* Applications will only be accepted from New Zealand Citizens/Residents, and people who hold a valid work visa & are already in New Zealand*We ideally would like someone who:Has had experience in packing fruit commercially.Has an eye for detail.Able to work on their feet all day.Desires to work efficiently and to the best of their abilities.Ability to communicate effectively with all staff members.Proficient in spoken English.Can perform laborious tasks repeatedly (involves lifting, bending, etc.
).Works well in a team environment and independently.Able to pick up skills quickly.Accommodation is available on request but is very limited.
