You will help lead our team and drive the success of Waipori Station.

You'll be responsible for running half the stock team on our large-scale, highly productive farm.

Your Responsibilities Ensuring stock data is recorded and reported.Supporting the Farm Manager in planning and farming operations.Leading and motivating the team.Capturing and maintaining farm data through systems like Farmax and Farm IQ.Driving innovation and improving processes to optimise farm performance.The Farm Located at Lake Mahinerangi on the edge of the Lammerlaw Range, Waipori Station is just a 45-minute drive from Mosgiel and 1 hour from Dunedin.
With 8,625ha of mixed pasture and tussock country, we run a sheep and cattle breeding operation, wintering over 57,000 stock units.
Our operation includes 27,000 Romney, 9000 hoggets, and 1800 Angus breeding cows/heifers.
We finish half the lambs and all surplus cattle on the farm.
Waipori Station has embraced innovative practices such as Virtual Fencing, CropX, and strip tillage, giving you hands-on experience with cutting-edge farm technologies.
About You This is your chance to step up and take on a leadership role.
You may already have experience as a Stock Manager or be ready to transition from a shepherding role with strong skills and a desire to lead.
