The Company: Our client is a well-established, internationally backed, nutritional dairy manufacturer that is run from their state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in the North Waikato.

The Role: To keep on top of their maintenance planning and scheduling, they are seeking a Stock/Inventory Controller with proven experience in analysing an existing ERP/stock control system for maintenance/equipment spares.
This role is responsible for managing and maintaining the inventory of maintenance, repair, and MRO supplies.
The position requires full-time, on-site presence in the parts warehouse from Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm .
This role has a competitive salary along with 3% bonus + health, life and income protection insurance .
Reporting to the Planning and Inventory Control Manager, this is a permanent role and requires someone with both administrative and hands-on warehousing experience.
You'll be involved with regular stock audits, coordinating with vendors and suppliers, preparing tenders for consumables, and collaborating with teams across the business.
You, the Candidate: As such, you, the preferred candidate, will have a good level of experience working within a warehouse and be familiar with end-to-end stock control, and inventory record management.
You must have experience with both running MEX and Navision (NAV), and be familiar with other inventory management systems such as MS Dynamics AX, SAP, or other equivalent systems.
Experience on the engineering side is key; you'll need to be able to identify parts, plan, and implement changes BUT do so with the support of the team around you.
Ideally, you will have most if not all of the following: Warehousing and inventory control experience, preferably in an FMCG or Dairy environment Previous experience with MEX, NAV, as well as ERP systems like MS Dynamics AX or SAP Strong time management and administration skills Familiar with inventory management software and Catalogue numbering/process flow Able to identify improvement opportunities and implement these Great communication skills Able to work in a fast-paced environment Willing to learn attitude Understanding of supplier tender/procurement process in NZ (Compliance) is a plus Understanding of PO's, documentation, shipping, and freight costs (and adjustment of POs') Understanding of spare parts preferably within a production/manufacturing environment The last point is as important as the first, and the reward to you is to work with a progressive and dynamic business, led by experienced managers that know that leadership is about listening to their team.
