We are seeking a hands-on, STOCK COORDINATOR to join our team in our NELSON HOME store!
This is a permanent FULL-TIME position, working Monday - Friday: Monday: 09.00–16.00 Tuesday: 09.30–16.30 Thursday: 09.00-17.00 Friday: 09.30-17.00 When required, preferred flexibility is desirable to pick up extra shifts to cover a weekend day, peak trading (e.g.
Christmas) and annual/sick leave.
You'll play an indispensable role in supporting your team to achieve outstanding results in delivering great experiences for our customers.
You will be part of a friendly retail team where everyone looks out for each other, and teamwork and the ability to build relationships are key to success.
In this role, you will: Promptly unload and process stock deliveries Sort, organize, and store inventory in the proper locations Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of inventory movement Ensure the workplace area is clean, neat and member-ready Work as an active team member to complete team goals Assist team members as needed throughout the store.
Assist with customer service in peak trade periods when required Perform ad hoc tasks as required To be successful, you will: Be passionate about all things stock Be hardworking Be highly organized and motivated Have excellent attention to detail Be comfortable doing a physical job Have the ability to prioritize workload Have previous retail experience in a stockroom or warehouse environment The ability to regularly lift items, bend, reach, climb ladders, complete repetitive movements as well as be on your feet for long periods.
