As a crucial function, our team provides a service to decontaminate, pack, and sterilise instruments for the operating theatres and many other departments.
This key team is looking for a Qualified Sterile Services Technician to join us on a permanent basis.

Ko wai koe | About You In this role, you will be responsible for: Providing direct technical processing of reusable medical devices (RMDs); Ensuring decontamination is achieved through the correct washing process; Ensuring that the correct sterilisation process is selected and used (Steam, Sterrad etc.)
as appropriate; Ensuring that RMDs are inspected and tested as required and specific to each RMD; Ensuring all required documentation is completed.
Nga pukenga me nga wheako | Skills and experience Your skills will include: You will need to be able to perform well under pressure; A high level of attention to detail; Good communication skills; You will also need to be physically fit as this role does involve some lifting; NZSSA Sterilising Technology Certification.
