We are seeking a Stakeholder Relationship Manager to join our team, who will support thriving communities. You will typically be identifying opportunities to engage and achieve positive outcomes while working alongside our external stakeholders including Iwi/hapu, councils, NGOs, and other community groups.
This role will see you working in a fast-paced and challenging environment, planning and developing engagement plans, understanding milestones, and identifying risks and opportunities along the way.
You will be the face of Kainga Ora in the community sharing our story, and at times you will be challenged prompting robust conversations. You will be a professional who can have these conversations while delivering our strategic vision and achieving positive outcomes. You can expect to be well supported by our team of experienced professionals and our wider place-based teams.
This role is a fixed term/secondment from 6/01/2025 - 31/03/2026.
Nga Pumanawatanga Ou - What You Will Bring A relevant professional certification, eg IAP2 is desirable.Full Drivers licence essential.Demonstrated excellent relationship management skills.Broad and extensive stakeholder and community engagement experience.Public sector experience (understands the requirements for effective stakeholder and community engagement in a government/state sector environment).Ability and credibility to represent the organisation with external stakeholders.A quick thinker able to make decisions.Able to juggle and lead multiple tasks.Demonstrated ability to achieve results - has built a good reputation in their area of expertise.Demonstrated ability to work effectively and simultaneously with multiple teams and agendas.Computer literate in Microsoft Office environment.Excellent planning and organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Nou te rourou - What's in it for you?
