This is a 6-month fixed term role to cover project work.
Role OverviewThe Stakeholder Liaison Coordinator provides best practice advice to our operations and capital teams on stakeholder and community engagement. The role is pivotal to providing a customer and stakeholder perspective during renewal projects construction, communicating Watercare works, and providing feedback to project teams on potential impacts to stakeholders and appropriate mitigations.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Stakeholder Liaison Coordinator will be responsible for:
Development of stakeholder communications, working in partnership with project managers and contractors on accurate messaging.Providing on-the-ground support to stakeholders to provide project updates, answer questions, and handle complaints.Ensuring appropriate follow-up and evaluation of projects is done via the Voice of the Community programme and managing responses to complaints and key issue themes in the interests of continuous improvement.Qualifications and SkillsTo be successful in this role, you will have:
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including an ability to deal with ambiguity and problem-solving.A collaborative approach to everything you do, ensuring clear lines of communication with team members, contractors, and community groups.At least two years' experience in a position where relationship and reputational management are important.Persistence and resilience, as you will be handling customer complaints and working with contractors to find solutions to stakeholder issues.Technological proficiency with experience using CRM and email systems.IAP2 training is beneficial, however, it is not essential as we can support you towards this industry certification.A full driver's license is required.BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary and staff benefits package including:
