The Stakeholder Liaison Advisor provides best practice advice to our Strategy and Planning and Capital Delivery teams on stakeholder and community engagement.
The role is pivotal to providing a customer and stakeholder perspective at all stages of project delivery from concept development, through planning, design, statutory approvals and construction.
The role has a wide range of relationships with teams across the business including those involved in all aspects of infrastructure projects, external contractors, as well as other internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities will include: Working with Project Managers providing best practice advice on stakeholder engagement and liaison.Supporting the delivering of stakeholder communications to ensure positive relationships and experiences between Watercare and the communities we service.Writing innovative and interesting collateral to provide project updates.Organising and overseeing stakeholder liaison events, information sessions and celebrations.Building community awareness and trust in the organisation through the promotion of project stories.To be successful in this role, you will have: Excellent written and oral communications skills, including an ability to deal with ambiguity and problem solving.A collaborative approach to everything you do, so how you work with team members, contractors and community groups to ensure clear lines of communication will be a key strength.The ability to formulate and promote new ideas and methods which help build meaningful relationships with other staff and key stakeholders.Ideally you will have at least five years' experience in a position where relationship and reputational management are important.A persistence and resilience as at times you will be handling customer complaints and working with contractors to find solutions to stakeholder issues.IAP2 training is beneficial however it is not an essential as we can support you to gain this industry certification.We offer a competitive salary and staff benefits package including: Training and development opportunities.Life and income protection insurance plans.Generous parental leave policy.Employee discounts at a range of large retailers.Modern offices in the heart of Newmarket with easy access to public transport.Discounted Wilson parking.On site free gym.Me pehea te tono mai | How to Apply Come and join our team!
