Job Description
He aha tau mahi? - What will you do?
We're on the hunt for a Stakeholder Engagement Advisor to join our busy Land & Planning team in Hamilton or Taranaki. If you've got some good experience working with a range of people, particularly iwi, across various scenarios then read on!
The primary aim is to keep people safe who live and work around our pipelines. To do this you'll need to be safety and relationship focused. You'll be comfortable dealing with a range of people including the Firstgas team, landowners/occupiers, contractors, iwi and local government with the goal to deliver exceptional relationship management.
The successful candidate will work closely with teams across the business to provide stakeholder engagement, consultation, negotiation, coordination, safety awareness, and support and education services. We'll support you to upskill in areas that are new to you.
Qualifications

Strong people and relationship management skills
Relevant experience supporting key stakeholder relationships, particularly iwi
Current Full Drivers Licence
Self-management skills with a focus on work prioritisation and planning
A commitment to safety – it's our priority, and will need to be yours
A willingness to learn, develop and share knowledge
Confident using MS Office
