Our client is looking for an experienced Stainless Steel Fabricator who will be working on the assembly structure of metal products, using a large number of machines and tools.
This will include grinders, drill presses, welding machines and more.
You will interpret drawings, blueprints and other verbal/written instructions.
You will transform stainless steel material into functional and aesthetically pleasing products.
You will be expected to perform quality checks on finished products and to set up fabricating machines and design custom templates.
To ensure success in this role you should have advanced knowledge of industrial metalwork, a good eye for detail and a high level of maths skills.
Responsibilities: Constructing base templates if necessary Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints Measuring and marking out cutting and bending lines Setting up metalwork machinery including rollers, drill presses, flame cutters, brakes, and shears Fabricating and constructing metal components Double-checking design specifications before commencing with cutting work Grinding and finishing completed products Completing job reports Performing quality checks on completed products Conforming with state and company safety regulations About You: 3-5 Years Experience Strong level of communication Strong understanding of Health & Safety/Knowledge of equipment safety standards Ability to follow instructions Team player Math and design skills Ability to take precise measurements Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints As one of the world's largest employers, we believe in talent not labels, and focus on the diverse and unique skills our people bring.
