Company DescriptionTo assist our staff with the shortage of accommodation in Queenstown, we have a hostel facility that provides small dorm accommodation with communal facilities.We welcome someone who has run a hostel, lodge, or similar to look after 30 rooms and up to 70 live-in staff.Job DescriptionThis role involves a mix of administration, welcoming new team members, and inducting them.Daily cleaning duties and general upkeep of the building.Managing the day-to-day operation of the hostel.Conducting room inspections.Maintaining house rules to ensure all staff enjoy the facility.Responding patiently to requests in a timely manner.Exhibiting a cheerful and professional demeanor.Demonstrating good organizational skills.Managing bookings, payment schedules, departure dates, and correspondence.Responsible for Health & Safety requirements and managing contractors.Problem-solving abilities.We want our staff to live in clean accommodation that is comfortable and well managed so that everyone enjoys the facility.
