Staff Hostel Manager

Company Description
To assist our staff with the shortage of accommodation in Queenstown, we have a hostel facility that provides small dorm accommodation with communal facilities.
We would welcome someone who has run a hostel, lodge, or similar to look after 30 rooms and up to 70 live-in staff.
Job Description
A mix of administration, welcoming new team members, and inducting them.
Daily cleaning duties, general upkeep of the building, and managing the day-to-day operation of the hostel.
Room inspections.
Maintain house rules to ensure all staff enjoy the facility.
Ability to relate well and respond patiently to requests in a timely manner.
Cheerful and professional demeanor.
Good organizational skills.
Manage bookings, payment schedules, departure dates, and correspondence.
Responsible for Health & Safety requirements and managing contractors.
Ability to solve problems.
