Then we want you to work in our inpatient team at North Shore! We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic physiotherapist to join our highly skilled and dedicated inpatient surgical physiotherapy team at North Shore Hospital, working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
This is a full time role for 9 months, working on the acute and elective surgical wards at North Shore Hospital, the Elective Surgical Centre and our brand new facility at Totara Haumaru. It includes providing pre-operative education to patients attending breast and upper gastro-intestinal surgery clinics, and includes providing cross cover into other acute wards as required.
Key requirements for this role: NZ registered PhysiotherapistPassion for working within the acute environment with at least 2 years of relevant inpatient surgical experienceStrong clinical assessment and treatment skillsExcellent communication & organisational skillsExperience supervising staff and/or studentsWithin this role you will receive: Support and development of your personal and professional goalsSupport and mentoring from senior clinicians and clinical coachesEducation to be able to support junior staff with clinical development and supervisionRegular professional supervision from experienced cliniciansOpportunities to contribute to service delivery and quality improvement projectsTraining and support for this availableIf this sounds like you then please apply online!
