About the Role Based in Christchurch you will be responsible for running a small team of Sprinkler Service technicians, preparing quotes from defects and providing your technical expertise to the wider team. You will also be required to work hands on with the team diagnosing, servicing, repairing,and carryingout minor works on fire suppression systems within your designated area of responsibility. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with our large projects team providing assistance as needed. This will involve: Identifying defects and ensuring timely estimates and rectification to the client's satisfaction Providing leadership to the team with the assistant of the whole branch management team. Using technology to maintain records of completed assignments. Maximising productivity via optimal route planning, time management and service delivery. Providing a professional level of service to our customers. Be available to work on call (preferred). About You 3 years' experience in a similar role (preferred) IQP – SS 1 and SS 6 (preferred) Level 4 NZQA qualifications (preferred) Sound knowledge of applicable standards and regulations as they pertain to the Fire industry. Current Drivers License (mandatory) Ability to work in an unsupervised environment. Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, plan and prioritise workloads, and meet deadlines. Well-developed communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Reasonable knowledge operating a computer and the ability to learn for the purpose of both pricing work and communicating with clients.
