When not spraying you will be using a ride on mower and hand tools to maintain urban vegetation growth. Each day you will travel the region and help with noxious pest, plant and urban footpaths corridor vegetation control a greatly rewarding job with million-dollar views.
We need an experienced Agri chemical applicator who is passionate about health and safety and the environment. Someone who can work independently and keep daily detailed records of areas sprayed. Full training can be given to the right applicant.
About you: Hands on experience and a good understanding of environmental laboring (specifically tractor and other machinery operation, spraying and mowing equipment, gardening, landscaping, and vegetation control); Understands and adheres to (Environmental Laboring) Health & Safety guidelines and best practice. Enjoys working outside in all weather. Must be physically fit and able. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude; A current and clean Driver's license class 1; A proven record of being a team player To be successful: Class 1 driver's license Growsafe qualification Chemical Applicator qualification TMO/ STMS Wheels endorsement Experience and knowledge of the regional greenspaces and local contract requirements desirable Any horticultural qualifications desirable What's on offer: Discounts tied to popular retailers and service providers through our 'Boost' programme.
