Prospa Contracting Services is EastPack's Orchard Management Machinery Division, servicing one of the largest orchard management companies in New Zealand, which offers a full range of services that aim to optimise productivity and maximise returns for our growers.

We are looking for an experienced and well-rounded Sprayer Operator who might be looking for a change, to join our team as a Spray Operator and Compliance Lead .
This role offers variety and would see you balancing compliance and health and safety support to the team, alongside operational orchard activities such as spraying services and orchard maintenance tasks. This role will be working alongside our Spray Division Business Manager and Central Operations Manager to assist with all tasks relating to compliance and health and safety, so the successful applicant must be competent with computers and systems.
We would love to hear from you if you possess the following:
At least three years sprayer operator experience A current grow safe certificate and understand the safe use of agrichemicals Understanding of the impact of weather conditions for spraying and spray requirements for kiwifruit orchards Desire to work alongside a team of other keen and passionate operators Class 2 licence A good understanding and awareness of safe work practices An understanding of GAP compliance Ability to work independently but know when to escalate any issues Good problem-solving skills and a positive attitude Good time management and organisational skills (able to prioritise!) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Flexibility to work extended hours including weekends when required, during our main spraying peaks We offer a competitive hourly rate based on skills and experience.
