Mo te turanga - About the role As a Sponsorship Manager in NZ Marketing COE, you'll play a key role in leading the implementation of the sponsorship strategy across the sponsorship portfolio. It includes the development and effective implementation of sponsorship strategies and initiatives, in conjunction with the Head of Sponsorship. The role creates positive community and customer experiences and is critical in continuing to grow the ANZ brand. This Sponsorship Manager role reports into the Head of Sponsorship. Role Location: Auckland (ANZ Corporate Site – Albert Street) Role Type: Full-time, Permanent Ka aha to ra e kite ai? - What will your day look like In a typical day or week, your work will involve the following: Ensure successful delivery within approved portfolio budgetsReport & measure effectiveness of initiatives against agreed objectives demonstrate ROIProvide sponsorship leverage strategies to meet business & brand objectivesBuilding & maintaining strong relationships with assigned business units and sponsored partnersTarget measure & report brand impact measures to demonstrate effective leverage of sponsorship portfolio.Drive agreed sponsorship contracts and follow review & management processes.Lead the development of annual sponsorship portfolio plans identifying innovative leverage strategies and tactics to assist the business in achieving targets.Ensure company compliance with specified sponsorship portfolio contracts.Managing relationships & performance with specific sponsored partnersManage direct staff and agencies actively leading, mentoring and coaching for delivery of best practice.Manage relationships with senior stakeholdersEnsure all leverage activity complies with the ANZ Group brand and marketing strategy, policies processes and standards and external regulatory requirements.Ou Pukenga? - What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: 5-7 years+ sponsorship, marketing or customer strategy experienceEnd-to-end sponsorship and marketing campaign delivery experience, from briefing through to delivery, and then documenting results and recognising key learningsStrong project management skills, including event management, to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and on scheduleStrategic thinking and ability to draft strategic recommendations including ability to identify and develop insights into sponsorship initiativesStrong initiative and problem solving skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, to build and influence positive collaborative relationships with mid-senior level internal stakeholders and sponsorship partnersNegotiation skillsAbility to work constructively in a fast paced team environmentHighly organised, excellent prioritisation and capacity management skills You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
