Lead therapy services for individuals with disabilities, mentor clinicians, drive innovation, & collaborate on person-centred, impactful care plans.About the role:This position is dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities, empowering them to achieve their communication and swallowing goals, and making a meaningful impact in their lives. As Practice Lead, you will combine advanced clinical practice with leadership to deliver exceptional care to individuals with disabilities in the community. As part of the Senior Management team, you will work with clinical and operational leaders to meet people's communication rights.Benefits:* A company car (including personal use), laptop, and phone to support your work and personal needs.* The flexibility and support to work in an innovative way, allowing you to create meaningful change.* Opportunities to contribute to service and sector projects, helping to shape the future of disability care.* Spacious and modern offices that provide a comfortable and collaborative working environment.* Salary up to $97k for the right skill set and ongoing professional development opportunities.What you have to do:* Lead the development and delivery of therapy services for clients with complex communication needs, triaging and allocating caseloads.* Support and mentor a team of therapists, fostering their growth and development.* Manage a clinical caseload, partnering with clients, families, caregivers, and other professionals to create individualized therapy plans that enhance quality of life.* Drive service excellence by contributing to innovative service and sector projects.* Ensure therapy services are delivered in an innovative, client-centered, and flexible manner.Skills and Experience:* A recognized qualification in Speech-Language Therapy and current registration with New Zealand Speech-language Therapy Association.* At least 5 years' experience, ideally working with people with disabilities in a community or multidisciplinary setting.* Strong leadership capabilities and ideally experience mentoring clinicians or students.* Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.* A genuine passion for improving outcomes for people with disabilities and advocating for their needs.* Full clean driver's licence is essential for this role.Don't miss this chance to lead with purpose and help individuals thrive!Reference: 207541
