This is a great opportunity to join the team at Kimi Ora School in term 1, 2025. We are a specialist school consisting of 5 to 21 year-old neuro diverse learners. Our base school is situated in Naenae and we have five satellites within the Naenae, Taita, Woburn, Miramar and Evans Bay area.
We seek enthusiastic, innovative teachers to join our dynamic team at one of our Lower Hutt sites in 2025. You will initially work with some of our college age, 14 to 21 years olds, working alongside other staff in a transdisciplinary manner to enhance the learning and engagement of our students. Our curriculum programmes respond to the individual needs of each young person, working in collaboration with whanau and student voice.
The successful applicants will be passionate team members who contribute fully to school life and provide a vibrant learning environment for our students.
We offer the successful candidates ongoing support and professional development.
The terms and conditions will be in accordance with the relevant Teachers' Collective Agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will depend on the applicant's qualifications and experience as assessed by the Salary Assessment Unit of the Ministry of Education.
