Specialist Production Operators - Powder

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled Powder Production Operator to join our team and contribute to our mission of nurturing healthy beginnings. We are looking for someone with:

A high level of experience in Powder Operation – Dryer and/ or Evaps in the infant formula field
High level Communication Skills
Quality and Health & Safety knowledge
Computer Literate, with exposure to ERP Systems, ideally Navision
Able to step up and supervise other staff
Even better, you also bring:

Engineering or Food Technology degree
Lean Manufacturing
The Role: This role is key to providing support in delivering high quality product, driving plant and process efficiencies within the Yashili Powder operation. The role holder is expected to continue to operate the plant and assist the Shift Manager with the implementation of lean powder techniques that improve the Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) of the powder plant through continuous improvement projects and the multi skilling of operators. This position includes hands on machine operating. You will be required to work 12-hour shifts, 4 on and 4 off. Your responsibilities will include:

Operate and monitor powder production equipment according to standard operating procedures.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Follow strict quality control measures to maintain product consistency and purity.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to create a secure working environment.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions as needed.
Maintain accurate production records and reports for documentation purposes.
Participate in training programs to stay updated on industry standards and best practices.
