Join our roading team in Stratford as a Specialist Patrolman. In this varied role, you will primarily be responsible for minor roading maintenance and repairs on the Stratford District roading network. Your day-to-day will include routine inspections and minor maintenance repairs on the road. These include potholes, edge breaks, sweeping, marker pegs, roadside rubbish, road signs, culvert cleaning, and emergency response.
In addition to the above, you will:

Full Class 2 license minimumWTR Endorsements preferred but not essentialBuilding and/or handyman experience and skillsPrevious pavement and traffic services maintenance experience advantageousExperience within road maintenance essentialExperience driving heavy vehicles on narrow rural roadsPossess the ability to work independentlySound computer knowledge, with data entry abilityExtremely safety conscious and detail orientedComfortable working independently and safely in a rural environmentGood level of physical fitnessCreating, Connecting and caring for the community.
