In this role, you will operate machinery and perform labouring tasks to help deliver work for our customers safely, on time and to the highest quality standard. If you have a willingness to learn and have a passion for operating machinery, we can help provide the training necessary to get you up to scratch. In a ddition to the above you will: Operate various plant used for sealing works, including the Bitumen Sprayer Assist in the execution of the sealing works, as required by the Contract Specifications applicable Maintain open communication with other crew members and management Ensure all plant and work sites are kept in a safe and tidy condition Don't know much about sealing? Sealing is the process of spraying a thin layer of bitumen onto the existing road, then spreading a layer of sealing chip on top. We're looking for someone with: Availability to work away from home and on shift (when required) Full Class 4 licence (Class 5 and WTR endorsements are advantageous) Previous bitumen and emulsion handling experience is advantageous Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment A proactive approach to Health and Safety - it's our #1 priority Good Interpersonal and communication skills A positive attitude and most importantly, a good sense of humour Creating, Connecting and caring for the community?
