Specialist Operator

The Team at our Levin branch is looking for experienced Operators to join the team.
This role is a permanent full time roleYou will be based in Manawatu-WanganuiCompetitive hourly rateAwesome benefits for you and your family to enjoyBrand new PPE gear (that's your own personal protective equipment) What you'll be doing In this role you will be working on a range of small and large civil construction projects around the Horowhenua Region including carparks, subdivisions and State Highway projects. This means you will get plenty of variety in your day completing minor earthworks, excavations, drainage etc
You will be working a minimum of 40 hours per week and overtime paid above 40 hours.
What you'll bring to the role: Previous operating experience in a civil construction environment – you will be confident working on a variety of machineryGrader Operator experienceClean class 1-4 NZ licences or overseas equivalent, WTR endorsement or the ability to obtainA high level of physical fitness due to the physical nature of the roleStrong focus on health and safety not only for yourself, your colleagues but also the publicSelf-motivated with a positive attitude and the ability to think for yourselfBe reliable, honest and a flexible team player About Us Higgins is a leading roading and civil infrastructure company in New Zealand.
