Specialist Obstetrician - Auckland - New Zealand GovernmentObstetrician & Gynaecologist Specialist in ObstetricsThis is a casual, part-time or full-time position as a Consultant/Specialist Doctor in Obstetrician & Gynaecologist (O&G) for Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Counties Manukau, Auckland.The role involves providing care for a diverse population with high needs in a busy secondary/tertiary service. The team is supportive and dynamic, striving for excellence in women-focused care.We are seeking interest from Senior Registrars soon to qualify and experienced Specialists, particularly those with an interest in high-risk obstetrics. This opportunity offers a chance to share experience and support trainees and future specialists.Key Responsibilities:Deliver high-quality patient care in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, including acute and elective work.Contribute to the development of training programs for junior medical staff.Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.Requirements:Degree of MBChB or equivalent qualification.Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.Eligibility for vocational registration in General Practice or O&G.Estimated Salary: $150,000 - $250,000 per annum, based on ASMS SECA remuneration guidelines.About Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Counties Manukau:We value diversity and inclusivity, and strive to reflect the community we serve.
