Specialist Marketing | Campaign Delivery - Fixed TermLead campaigns, build relationships, make a differenceJoin Auckland Council's marketing team – fixed-term opportunity until July 2025Auckland Council's Marketing and Publicity department has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Specialist – Campaign Delivery to join their team. This fixed-term position will run until 7th July 2025 and will be crucial in helping the team deliver impactful marketing campaigns.In this role, you will work closely with the Communications department, key council stakeholders, and external partners to design and execute innovative marketing strategies that strengthen the council's reputation and support our organisational goals. You'll play a key role in ensuring that campaigns and communications are delivered on time, within budget, and engaging, all while demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement. The Marketing Delivery team is a high-performance team who are close-knit and supportive.Day-to-day you could expect to work on:Collaborating with the wider marketing team to deliver integrated campaigns, creative briefs, and content for owned, earned and paid channelsManaging the creation and delivery of marketing assetsEnsuring marketing programmes and events are aligned across internal and external audiencesIdentifying target audiences, channels, key messages, and KPIs for campaignsReporting on campaign performance and participating in continuous improvementIdentifying and recommending improvements to user journeys and experience across marketing touchpointsThis role requires experience in similar marketing and communications positions, with a solid understanding of campaign delivery, stakeholder management, and content creation. You'll be someone who can work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality outcomes. A creative mindset, coupled with the ability to navigate complex communications, will allow you to engage different audiences effectively. You'll also be a proactive communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.We will be looking for specific experience with:At least 5 years of experience in marketing and communications with proven success in developing and executing marketing campaignsExperience in integrated programme development and service deliveryA strong track record of building and maintaining and managing relationships with key stakeholdersTechnical expertise across marketing disciplines, including media, content creation, and reputation managementAbility to think creatively about audience engagement and campaign developmentExcellent organisational and communication skills with a solution-focused mindsetAs part of a dynamic team, this is your opportunity to make an impact.
