Job Description
Our busy open pit maintenance workshop is on the hunt for a skilled specialist - Maintenance Planner. This role will be accountable for scheduling short term operational maintenance activities, manipulating the weekly maintenance plan to meet production and workshop priorities, as well as ensuring all parts and technical information is available for planned stoppages. 7 days on, 7 days off (dayshift only) roster.
Role requirements:
Monitor planned maintenance service schedule and manipulate short term plan to maintain service accuracy.
Finalise draft plans.
Upload all approved backlogs into the CMMS (Pronto) ensuring accuracy and correctness of entry.
Work closely with the Execution team to ensure budgeted numbers of equipment type are available for Operations.
Schedule repairs and servicing of all nominated fixed plant, support and workshop equipment ensuring minimal down time and prioritisation in accordance with business requirements and strategy.
Identify and submit appropriate suggestions for additions and/or changes to maintenance strategies via the strategy change request process.
Where necessary, compile Bill of Materials (BOM) for standard jobs / routines.
Monitor and review the standard of closed workorders ensuring correct data into the CMMS (Pronto) to track maintenance history.
Qualifications
Trade Certified with minimum 4 years post trade experience.
Full and current Drivers Licence, competent driving manual vehicles.
