Salary Range : $117,035 - $156,888 based on skills and experience Role type : Permanent Location : Wellington The Specialist Adviser Extension Resource Development is responsible for creating and delivering a comprehensive engagement framework and the supporting resource materials required for the On Farm Support Directorate.
Duties will include: Managing creation and delivery of resource materials, collateral, and copy for On Farm Support advisory functions.
Considering, assessing, and effectively managing any relevant issues that are likely to impact on the ability to adequately deliver Advisory and/or Extension material.
Application of good project management principles by planning, documenting, and reporting on key progress steps, including risk analysis.
Building and maintaining effective relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to identify and share best practices and promote the Ministry, its products, and services.
The Specialist Adviser position requires an experienced professional who can create and manage a proactive approach, establishing strong processes and systems to ensure the successful delivery of the framework in collaboration with several MPI functional teams.

Experience working with extension services within a relevant industry.
Experience in stakeholder engagement and communications.
Knowledge of strategic and business planning processes.
Ability to quickly grasp and communicate complex issues.
