Job Title : Specialist Adviser, Extension Resource Development

Salary Range, GSR C : $117,035 to $156,888 depending on skills and experience

Korero mo te Turanga - About the Role The Specialist Adviser Extension Resource Development is responsible for creating and delivering a comprehensive engagement framework and the supporting resource materials required for the On Farm Support Directorate.

Duties will include : Managing creation and delivery of resource materials, collateral, and copy for On Farm Support advisory functions. Considering, assessing, and effectively managing any relevant issues that are likely to impact on the ability to adequately deliver Advisory and/or Extension material. Application of good project management principles by planning, documenting, and reporting on key progress steps, including risk analysis. Building and maintaining effective relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to identify and share best practices and promote the Ministry, its products, and services. Mou - About You The Specialist Adviser position requires an experienced professional who can create and manage a proactive approach, establishing strong processes and systems to ensure the successful delivery of the framework in collaboration with several MPI functional teams.

Our ideal candidate will also display : Experience in Extension Resource development. Project and event management experience. Experience working with extension services within a relevant industry. Experience in stakeholder engagement and communications. Knowledge of strategic and business planning processes. Ability to quickly grasp and communicate complex issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Effective negotiating and influencing skills. You do not need to meet all of the role requirements to apply.
