Special Education Teachers

Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher Subjects: English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Maori, The arts PTSL SDA Sir Keith Park School is a dynamic specialist school for learners aged 5 to 21 years. Our multi-cultural learners all have unique abilities and strengths, and with specialist teaching are able to engage in learning in a variety of contexts within school and our local community. Many of our students have a diagnosis of autism. We provide ongoing professional development, small class sizes, and teacher aide and therapy support. The ideal applicants will be primary teaching trained and keen to collaborate with teacher aides and therapists to implement engaging and active learning programmes. Teaching positions will be available in a junior satellite/base school and CRT across all areas of the school depending on the applicant's skills and experience, commencing in term 1, 2025.
