Neutron will be our next rocket on the launch pad, an advanced 13-tonne payload class, reusable rocket to launch the mega constellations of the future.SPACE SYSTEMS TECHNICIANSpace Systems Technicians work closely with Mechanical Development, Project and Design Engineers to manufacture and develop industry-leading spacecraft components and vehicles. The Space Systems Technicians work from technical drawings and Acceptance Test Specifications to assemble and test components for our family of spacecraft. They are also responsible for integrating mechanical and avionic components to spacecraft whilst maintaining strict cleanliness and quality requirements.As a technician, you will be hands-on, working with specialist test equipment to ensure that components you manufacture meet all necessary functional and environmental requirements for space flight. Your responsibilities directly contribute to the overall production and launch schedule.YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS:Trade qualified in relevant industryMust be able to demonstrate 2+ years of relevant industry experiencePrecision mechanical assemblyOperation of mechanical, electrical, and automated test equipmentComfortable working to exacting standards, including cleanliness for oxygen serviceHave a working understanding of standard industry ESDHave a good level of eyesight and be able to inspect assemblies to a high workmanship standardBe able to manufacture components to a high workmanship standardTHESE QUALIFICATIONS WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE:Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenThe ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as autonomouslyAble to read, understand, and follow manufacturing instructions and drawingsA high work ethic, always seeking more responsibility.
