Your role will involve:Collaborating and meeting with faculty managers, University of Canterbury stakeholders on a regular basis to ensure alignment with the university's strategic plans, goals, and objectives.Leading the space team, to strengthen the teams' dynamics and capabilities.Overseeing services that enable the delivery of exceptional campus and space planning.Proactively managing space utilisation through the use of analytics, mapping, and facility management data.Your leadership will help shape the future of our campus and its alignment with modern, flexible workspaces.Mou | Who You AreYou bring extensive experience and expertise in building, planning, and development.
Your background includes:You will hold a bachelor's degree in a business or planning & development discipline or equivalent work experience.Prior experience in an architecture and or Interior design background.Previous experience working with external consultants and understanding procurement processes.Previous experience in dealing with a large organisation at a management level.Registered in a nationally recognised planning and/or development association preferred.A strategic mindset with the ability to envision and implement future-focused solutions for flexible and modern work environments.Your deep understanding of campus planning and your ability to balance immediate operational needs with long-term strategic goals will be pivotal to your success in this role.Mahi Ngatahi | Who You Will Work WithUC is made up of approximately 150 buildings across 87 hectares, covering a gross floor area of 223,000m2.
