About the role As a Space & Range Strategic Projects Lead you'll lead the transformation of our existing Space Management practices to be more data-driven and technology enabled to facilitate the delivery of world-class, sustainable, customer-driven Merchandise strategies. As part of a high performing culture within our Customer Insights Team, you will effectively influence key stakeholder partners by applying the latest customer insight, data, technology and category expertise.
Some key responsibilities include:
Lead and manage Foodies' strategic transformation initiatives within Macro Space Optimisation and Planogram Automation. Develop and implement the roadmap and execution plan specific to the strategic initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including category management, store operations, and IT, to ensure successful project execution. Work with third-party software providers to help develop the best solutions to enable greater use of customer data and maximise the capability of technology. Lead a team of Space & Range Analysts fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies to proactively drive continuous improvement. About you You'll be an experienced leader who is well organised, pragmatic and a lateral thinker with an inquisitive mind with proven ability to manage change for the better. You'll also have a strong track record in strategic FMCG, or similar industry roles, preferably in medium to large customer-focused retail organisations.
You'll also have:
Proven experience in driving digital transformation and/or process improvement. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with critical thinking and judgment. Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities and navigate through ambiguity. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, able to clearly articulate ideas/concepts, and influence and persuade others.
