The RoleBased in Christchurch and reporting to the Chief Sales Officer, this role will lead and inspire the South Island sales team, fostering a culture of sustainable and profitable growth. You will support the execution of the national sales strategy and annual plans, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives. In addition, managing crucial customer relationships and stakeholder interactions will be essential, alongside the development and enhancement of sales skills, competencies and operational processes within your team. In conjunction with the Chief Sales Officer, you will play a pivotal role in driving the organisation towards continued success and market leadership. Skills and ExperienceTo succeed in this role, you will have a proven track record in business development, especially in relationship driven sales environments. Your strong leadership abilities and effective communication skills will be essential for guiding and coaching teams, as well as engaging with key stakeholders. In addition, you will ideally have previous experience in sectors such as primary industries, with a familiarity and affinity for rural New Zealand being advantageous.
