About the Role This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and motivated experienced Manager to lead a team with and be responsible for planning, organising and directing projects, strategically managing client portfolios, coordinating the resolution of technical issues and assisting with sales support for Aero NZ in the South Island. This permanent full-time role is critical for enhancing operational efficiency, expanding market reach and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and service delivery. We are offering a salary range of $99,000 to $103,000 per annum and this position is also eligible for the company's annual bonus program with a bonus base of $8,000. Duties and Responsibilities The main responsibilities for this position are: Project and Installer Management: Plan, organise and oversee local installation projects, ensuring they meet budget, quality standards and client expectations. Plan and coordinate the commissioning of projects involving third parties and clients, guaranteeing successful project completion and client satisfaction. Establish and direct operational and administrative procedures. Coordinate the sourcing and provision of stock and materials. Identify and train local installers and monitor their work performance in accordance with the company standards. Monitor and report on any Health and Safety incidents. Frequent travel within the South Island for client meetings, project management, and installer training. Key Account Management: Develop and implement strategies and plans to establish new relationships and market segments for the expanded FAAC range. Strategically manage client portfolios to maximise satisfaction and revenue opportunities. Act as the primary contact for designated key accounts, ensuring all aspects of service delivery meet or exceed expectations. Lead the sales operations in Christchurch. Maintain detailed records of interactions, projects, and account statuses to inform continuous improvement. Represent the business at relevant seminars and other public events in the South Island. Technical Support and Repairs Sales Provide first-line technical support in Christchurch and manage repairs for Centurion, FAAC, and Magnetic product lines. Liaise with the North Island Technical Manager for complex technical issues and solutions. Skills and Experience Leadership: Ability to plan and implement national plans as well as direct and empower others in line with the national plan. Business negotiation: Ability to build rapport and trust with key stakeholders / strategic discussion to create value for Aero NZ. Communication: Clear, motivating and professional communication skills are essential. Ability to communicate with optimism and honesty while maintaining a professional appearance. Teamwork: Demonstrate cooperative behaviour with both internal team members and external stakeholders. Work collaboratively to meet and exceed organisational goals. Problem Solving: Exhibit systematic and critical thinking in resolving issues efficiently and effectively. Self-Management: Highly self-motivated and organised, capable of setting and achieving goals independently while adapting to changing priorities. Initiative and Enterprise: Show a proactive approach in identifying business opportunities and improving service delivery. At least 3 years in technical support, sales or project management, preferably in the automation or access control industry or a degree in Business or Technical field.
