Successful applicants will have at least three years' experience in a similar position.
The pay rate for the position will be assessed on the experience and qualifications of each applicant.
The wage bracket for these positions is between $26 - $33.00 per hour, with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours a week.
Duties include, but are not limited to: Menu execution.
Being responsible for your section.
Ensuring mise en place list is completed with relevant notes for handover to the next chef.
Assisting with training of Chef de Parties, commis chefs and demi chefs.
Inventory and ingredient cost management.
Maintaining hygiene and health and safety practices.
Promoting good work ethics and values.
Keeping your work section clean and tidy.
Ensuring complete ordering for your section.
Ability to work in a team.
Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask.
Ability to handle pressure and high-stress situations.
Maintaining compliance standards, including taking temperature checks.
