The Feilding Golf Club is looking to hire an experienced Sous Chef.
Under the direction of the Head Chef and the General Manager, the Sous Chef will assist with the day-to-day running and management of the kitchen.
Your role will include overseeing, training, and mentoring other chefs; ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to the standard recipes and ensuring the guests' satisfaction is consistent with Feilding Golf Club's standards. You will report to the Head Chef and be responsible for the entire kitchen operation in their absence.

Key Duties & Responsibilities: Exceptional cooking skills Ability to effectively manage kitchen staff, motivate staff, and assign duties fairly Familiarity with the best practices in the restaurant and catering services industry Knowledge of health and safety standards Proficient in Google Workspace, Point of Sale, and restaurant management software Ability to multitask and work quickly under pressure Advanced verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail and organizational skills Qualifying Criteria: 2-3 years in a senior position in a commercial kitchen preferred Commitment to high-quality standards and keen eye for detail Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding customer-facing environment Team player with an ability to multi-task and work independently Positive and flexible approach to work Excellent time management and organizational skills Salary & Benefits: Competitive package, training support, and opportunities.
