We are the only restaurant in Rotorua to feature in Cuisine Magazine's Good Food Guide of the top restaurants in New Zealand for the past two years.We're looking for a passionate Sous Chef to join our team. You'll be responsible for:Ensuring a high standard of operation, from prep to platingLeading the kitchen team in the absence of the Head ChefMaintaining a professional and effective work environmentOur ideal candidate will have:A minimum of 5 years experience working in a small, fast-paced commercial kitchenTwo years experience as Sous Chef or Senior CDP preferred; pastry work is a bonusA flair for creativity and a genuine passion for food and hospitalityIn return, we will offer:Competitive hourly rate (dependent on experience)35-45 hours per week, Tuesday - SaturdayNo split shifts, week off over ChristmasOpportunity to learn, flexibility to work different sectionsA great working environment with a small, fun team and awesome clienteleIf this sounds like you, get in touch!PLEASE NOTE: We will only consider applicants who are legally able to work in New Zealand with no restrictions.
