No two days are the same supporting multi-rooms and multi-function venues creating enjoyable and memorable experiences for their clients.The RoleReporting to the Head ChefResponsible for preparing food in large quantities overseeing the production of this before and during the eventPlan and execute menus for banquets and eventsManage preparation and setup of food stations and buffetsAdhere to food safety regulations and health codesMaintain inventory and order suppliesThis role is based in Hamilton.QualificationsProven experience as a Banquet Chef in a busy restaurant, hotel or catering companyHold a full driver's licenseExperience catering for large scale eventsStrong culinary skills and a passion for creating exceptional dishesExcellent leadership and teamwork abilitiesKnowledge of food safety and sanitation practicesFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required (dependent on events)Strong communication and organisational skillsA passion for culinary innovation and creativitySalary: $70 - $75k per annum.
