Sous Chef

Job Description Hola Amigos!
We are looking for 2 Chefs to join our team full time at La Quattro, a Mexican restaurant based in Wanganui.
Responsibilities You will be preparing and cooking Mexican food.
Should have a minimum of 3 years kitchen experience.
Knowledge of portioning food and garnishing with sauces and Mexican creamas.
Preparing food to meet the special requests and dietary requirements of our customers.
Outstanding hygiene standards and should ensure food safety and quality.
Regulating temperatures of ovens, quesadilla grills, fryers, and other cooking equipment.
Knowledge of checking temperatures and storing food at the right temperatures in temperature-controlled facilities.
Estimating food requirements according to usage.
Assisting with training and management of new staff.
Proven understanding of current dining trends and being comfortable in cooking for large parties.
Job Requirements Minimum of 3 years of work experience and relevant qualification.
Flexibility to work any day of the week and must be available to work evenings, split shifts, and weekends.
Availability to work on public holidays as per the roster.
