Sous Chef Full Time

As a Sous Chef, you will play an essential role in our kitchen, ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.
Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing and cooking dishes according to customers' orders, following set recipes and specifications.
Overseeing the preparation and cooking of café-style food, ensuring every dish meets our standards of excellence.
Demonstrating passion for food, with creativity and proficiency in French cuisine.
Collaborating effectively with the kitchen team, fostering a positive and efficient working environment.
Working autonomously and efficiently under pressure, especially during busy periods.
Ensuring the quality and presentation of each dish is exceptional, with a focus on taste and visual appeal.
Managing ingredient orders, ensuring the right quantities of high-quality ingredients are available.
Making quick, customer-focused decisions while maintaining a calm and professional demeanour.
Enforcing Health & Safety compliance to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Assisting with cost control, ordering, and purchasing when needed.
Standing for long periods of time in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
