By joining Absolute Radiology, you have the privilege of joining a business that is exciting and progressive with staff and our patients as our key focus.About the roleWe are looking for a Sonographer to join our small but close-knit team in a purpose-built facility which also offers x-ray, CT, MRI, Bone Density scanning and Interventional Radiology. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring high quality ultrasound scanning, in a supportive team environment.Our case mix makes this a Sonographer's dream job because of the variety of cases, from MSK to elastography, general body (with limited obstetric) scanning. Each day is different!Some of your responsibilities will include:Utilising clinical judgement/decision making to inform examination strategy and outcomeEnsuring the delivery of ultrasound imaging in a skilful and knowledgeable mannerPreparing written reports for examinations whereby you use your superior knowledge to critically evaluate findings.Practicing procedures in an ethical and professional manner, ensuring health and safety regulations are met.Working with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure timely and appropriate outcomes for our patients.This position will require you to be a real people person, with the ability to provide a high level of care and understanding to existing and prospective patients, catering to their psychological and physical needs.What's in it for you?Enforced 60 minutes for lunch – get out for some fresh air and have the luxury to do what you want on your break!You will also have:MRTB qualification as a registered Sonographer or MRTB recognised overseas qualification with a current APCExcellent interpersonal skills: communication, team effectiveness, and the ability to work collaboratively.To be successful in this role you will apply your knowledge and professionalism to maintain Absolute Radiology's clinical excellence and outstanding patient care.
