You will be responsible for managing the cellar and training the team.
This is a key position and the successful candidate will need to have a strong focus on excellence, plenty of enthusiasm and a flexible approach.Responsibilities includeTraining and upskilling the team in food and wine pairingsMaking wine purchase suggestions that would complement seasonal, local and international menusRegular stocktake and maintenance of our cellarWorking closely with our Head Chef setting daily menus and appropriate wine pairingsAbout youA passion for service delivery and the Hospitality IndustryExcellent wine knowledge with proven ability to engage guests and increase wine salesKnowledge and ability to train, grow and lead a teamExceptional organisational skillsFlexibility and maturity in approach - must be able to work shifts, including weekendsWe offerThis is a full-time position offering a minimum of 30 hours per week although you may be expected to work up to 60 hours per week during our peak periods.We offer competitive wages, staff lunches and access to our Staff Perks Programme with a wide range of discounts and deals with our suppliers and partners.
