A national top tier firm is seeking an experienced Resource Management Lawyer to join their teams in 2025. This role can be based in Christchurch, Dunedin or Queenstown. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a lawyer with a strong background in resource management and environmental law to grow their career within a dynamic and supportive team.
You will work across a broad spectrum of resource management and environmental law matters, including resource consent applications, environmental compliance, planning, and sustainability issues. The role involves providing expert advice to a diverse client base, contributing to meaningful and high-quality legal work in this specialised area.
You will have the opportunity to advise clients across various sectors, including agribusiness, horticulture, forestry, airports, ports, climate change, emissions trading, conservation law, energy and renewables, fisheries and aquaculture, local government, Maori law, minerals and petroleum, transport, water, and wastewater. You will work closely with councils, developers, farmers, environmental groups, and individuals to help them achieve their resource management goals.
