Chandler Macleod is seeking solar field technicians to join their team at Ashburton in Canterbury, New Zealand. The ideal candidate has the ability to engage in physically demanding tasks and manual handling with meticulous attention within the community. Candidates must be able to work 8-9 hours Monday to Saturday on the farm. This temporary position offers a competitive salary of $33 per hour. Applicants must have previous outdoor laboring experience, including the use of hand and power tools.
Qualifications for Solar Field Technicians: Previous outdoor laboring experience, including the use of hand and power tools.
Building construction foundations passport.
Successful completion of a pre-employment mobility assessment and alcohol and drug screening.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy equipment and working in various weather conditions.
Responsibilities for Solar Field Technicians: Clearing land and preparing the site for installation.
Assisting in the assembly and installation of solar panels.
Engaging in physically demanding tasks and manual handling with meticulous attention.
General site cleaning and laboring duties, including using hand and power tools.
