About the role: As the Solar Energy Installation Manager, you'll lead and oversee the installation of solar energy, battery, and EV Charging systems, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. You'll work closely with customers, the sales team, management team, and installation teams to deliver efficient, cutting-edge energy solutions. You will need to be a confident communicator with excellent organizational skills. Hard working and able to problem solve on the spot to ensure efficient completion of projects. Key responsibilities include: Team leadership. Oversee installation teams, including electricians, roofers, and technicians. Team training. Provide training to installation teams on the latest solar technology, safety protocols, and company installation procedures. Project management. Manage key residential and commercial jobs ensuring projects are delivered on budget and on time. Pre-installation checks. Meet with clients, ensure the sold solution is fit for purpose. Installation support. Ensure that all installations comply with local regulations. Inspections. Carry out solar inspections on completion of installations. Coordinate system testing and commissioning. Ensure proper system handover to clients, and provide post-installation support and maintenance guidance. Comply with all company health and safety policies. What you'll need to succeed: Full NZ EWRB License with a minimum of 5 years experience. Electrical Inspector license or desire to train towards. Strong electrical knowledge in residential and commercial areas. Solar Energy experience. Positive attitude, strong communication & leadership skills. Proactive and practical mindset, being able to think on your feet. Full, clean NZ Drivers License. An interest/passion in sustainable energy and creating a better future!
